SPECIFICATION

BANANA PUREE

 

Banana puree is an all-natural product derived from select, ripe Cavendish bananas.  The product is manufactured using modern sterilization and aseptic packaging processes.  Banana puree does not contain any chemical additives or added sugar.  The product retains all the traits, vitamins and minerals of the fresh fruit, as well as its flavor and color.  Banana puree is Kosher Certified. 

 

COLOR/APPEARANCE:                 Light yellow/cream color with smooth, fiber free texture.  Available with or without seeds.

 

TASTE:                                               Characteristic of fresh, ripe bananas.

 

SOLUBLE SOLIDS:                           22 – 25%

STORAGE:                                        Banana puree should be stored at room temperature in it original air tight packaging.  Aseptic drums have a shelf life of one year, while bag-in-drum and bag-in-box maybe be stored up to six months.  After the drum or bag is opened, the product should be used immediately. 

 

There are no sources of genetically modified organisms (GMO) in the raw materials used in the formulation of this product.
