Product Summary

  • Processed from freshly harvested and frozen blackberries grown in the Northwest region of the United States.
  • Pressed from blackberries harvested at a Brix of 10 to 12 depending on crop year and time of harvest.
  • 100% natural and contains no artificial ingredients or fillers.
  • Available essence returned or essence separated: blackberry juice essence is standardized to 100 fold.

Insoluble Solids: Less than 1%

Dilution Ratio:  7.2 parts water to 1 part concentrate (by volume) gives 10.0 Brix reconstituted single strength juice meeting NLEA requirements for fruit solids.

Appearance:   Natural for blackberries; dark purple color with good clarity.

Flavor/Aroma:   Typical of blackberries, free from fermented, metallic, or other objectionable flavors or odors.

Product and Storing  

  • Steel open head drums with two 4 mil poly liners, 50 or 52 gallon fill
  • Plastic pails, 5 gallon fill
  • Store frozen, shelf life at least 2 years from the date of manufacture, in unopened containers.
  • Ship via refrigerated vans frozen.

Each pail/drum and lid are labeled with a LOT # sticker which includes:

  • Product ID
  • Essence designator
  • Julian date of production
  • Fill (gallons/net weight)
  • Crop year
  • Customer designator
