This fruit is round and pear-shaped, sized from 3-10 cm in diameter. It has a thin delicate rind, pale green to yellow at maturity in some species, pink to red in others, a creamy white or orange-salmon flesh with many small hard seeds, and a strong aroma. The fruit is rich in vitamins A, B, and C. SPECIFICATIONS PASTEURIZED GUAVA PUREE GENERAL
DESCRIPTION: “Pasteurized Guava Puree” is the pasteurized juice and
pulp in natural proportions obtained from the sound, mature, fresh and properly
washed fruit of the Psidium Guajava L. The puree is processed in accordance with good manufacturing
practice, pasteurized, frozen and maintained at temperatures sufficient for the
preservation of the product (1) The guava fruit is washed thoroughly, macerated into puree,
and put through a process of screening to filter out seeds and unwanted fibrous
material. After this it is
pasteurized in a HTST system (high temp. short time) where complete
pasteurization is achieved while maintaining its natural properties. The resulting product is a premium commercial grade puree
pasteurized and frozen at the peak of freshness. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: PACKAGING: Ř
